Imagine a world where every child has the chance to feel the wind in their hair and the thrill of the open water. For over 18 years, The Lake Eustis Youth Sailing Foundation has been providing affordable sailing lessons to 1000+ children in Central Florida.
Through our program, young people learn valuable life skills like teamwork, problem-solving, and perseverance – all while developing a deep respect for the environment and learning a new skill.
Our graduates have gone on to excel in sailing at top universities like the University of Florida, The University of Central Florida, the University of South Florida, amongst more. Many have even become certified U.S. Sailing instructors, passing on their passion to the next generation.

Please contact Craig Yates to donate a boat or other equipment. Typically we refurbish and sell donated boats. Upon your donation of a boat to LEYSF, we will provide a donation letter for your records indicating the value of the sale unless the value of the vessel if $500 or less.
